As Platform Manager, Website & CMS, I am responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of our public website experience.

Some responsibilities and highlights in this position:

  • Owner of public website user experience and content management system (CMS) for the Marketing team, serving as a subject matter expert of the Optimizely and Kentico platforms
  • Manage website enhancement projects and fix requests, using Azure DevOps to clearly organize work for development team while communicating project progress and timelines to key stakeholders
  • Leverage web development familiarity to tightly collaborate with developers from a projects’ ideation to execution, ensuring functional and design specifications are met through rounds of bug fixes and quality assurance (QA) efforts
  • Establish & maintain CMS platform best practices for content management, design consistency, and publishing workflows
  • Lead CMS platform training for global marketing team, enabling users with custom how-to documentation, group and 1:1 training sessions, and timely troubleshooting assistance
  • Manage and execute regular website content updates for US and international properties
  • Independent build and maintenance of ad-hoc microsite in Webflow platform to promote customer-facing company conference
  • Continuous investigation and implementation of website architecture and content optimizations for SEO best practices
  • Gather, analyze, and report on website KPIs and user behaviors, informing monthly recommendations for future enhancement projects - done in Google Analytics, Search Console, and FullStory

QuickFlick was an iPhone application and website built to help users to find good movies and TV shows, quickly. We launched the iPhone application in April of 2016 and website in January of 2017. Following its initial launch we had implemented features such as direct links to stream content, a Top-50 section, genre-focused lists, and IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes ratings.

  • Ideated, launched, and operated iPhone application with outsourced development
  • Managed relationship with freelance software engineer, ensuring UI/UX development met our vision for the application
